Getting here
Camberwell Junction sits where Burke Rd crosses Riversdale Rd, and my studio is on Prospect Hill Rd just off the Junction. From Hawthorn, the approach is a few minutes east along Riversdale Rd. There is street parking on Prospect Hill Rd and the surrounding streets, with the Camberwell Coles car park a short walk away.

Colour worth making the trip for
For many Hawthorn clients, balayage is the easiest appointment to plan around. It is designed to grow out softly, so most clients return every ten to fourteen weeks rather than watching a hard regrowth line appear. That longer rhythm makes the short trip to Camberwell feel worthwhile, especially when we are building tone and dimension over several visits.
Partial and full foils also travel well. They are usually maintained every six to eight weeks and give us room to refine placement, brightness and condition rather than simply repeating the same formula. A root touch-up generally runs on a four-to-six-week cycle, so it can be more convenient for someone who lives very close to their salon. I would rather be honest about that rhythm than persuade you into an arrangement that does not fit your life.
Your first appointment
We begin with an unhurried consultation. I ask about previous colour, what you enjoy or struggle with now, how you normally style your hair and how often you genuinely want to return. Then we agree on a direction and I quote the price before any colour is mixed.
I am your stylist for the entire appointment—from consultation and colour placement through to the cut or finish. There is no hand-off to an apprentice and no rush between chairs. That continuity lets me see how your hair responds and keep a reliable record for next time.
If you are changing direction—going lighter, softening an old tint or returning to a more natural colour—bring a few reference images and tell me what you do not want as well as what you do. That gives us a useful starting point. I will also explain what can be achieved in one visit and what is kinder to approach gradually, so the plan stays realistic for both your hair and your calendar.
